I would be doing us all a disservice if I don’t call out and make space for the emotional impact of having pain or questions about your pelvic floor. It’s a vulnerable area in your body and topic of conversation that you are taught to be ashamed of and keep secret. And yet, in society, it defines your worth and value as a woman because it’s where sex and babies happen. So when things aren’t working properly it feels like you, as a woman, are wrong.
And you are NOT wrong. And you do not have to live in pain. You don’t have to tolerate peeing your pants. You deserve to feel continent & confident. You deserve strong muscles, great sex, and confident sneezes.
