Today’s story is something I wrote a while back and will be finding a more permanent home in my book! I’m currently working on the proposal so it may be a minute before you’re holding the print in your hands :)

And before we dive into the story which is about my eyebrows and so much more, I want to remind you that my FREE 5-day pelvic floor challenge starts Monday and I don’t want you to miss out on this incredible opportunity to get to know YOUR body.

You can sign up here?

What does your pelvic floor have to do with your eyebrows? Well, nothing and everything. I’d love to hear to parallels you find as you read so please drop them in the comments, but I’ll get you started by saying, “Sometimes we need to stop doing, take a breath, and observe. We need to see what’s going on in front of (or on) our faces and address that.” Despite what I learned growing up, denial is NOT the best policy.

If my family had a motto, it would be one word: denial.

Truly, I grew up in a house where if something happened or was happening that was negative, everyone just denied it. Illness, stress, conflict, meatloaf whatever it was, you just pretend it wasn’t happening.

ESPECIALLY in public! You don’t air your dirty laundry in public after all. And if you have dirty laundry in public, you have two choices. 1) Act like you have NO laundry at all! Or 2) tell everyone they’re nuts and the laundry is clean.
