On Tuesday I share this week’s podcast episode with a FREE audio guided workout called Horizontal Abs inspired by a dear client of mine. She shared that reason she got started with Pilates was because it was a workout she could do lying down, and she’s not wrong! But don’t let the horizontal part fool you, it’s challenging and most importantly IMPACTFUL!
That’s my favorite thing about the Pilates method and this more holistic approach to movement. You don’t have to feel like you’ve been hit by a truck so feel a difference in your body. Joseph Pilates said “In 10 sessions you'll feel the difference, in 20 sessions you'll see the difference, and in 30 sessions you'll have a whole new body.”
In my experience in my body and working with clients, the biggest transformation we experience from the Pilates method is how you feel in your body. How you experience your body both on AND off the mat.
So today I’m sharing another movement practice, this time a video that focuses on finding length, alignment, space, and balance in your spine! All in less than 20 minutes!
