I’ve taught thousands of women and I repeat myself constantly. Whether I’m on podcasts, writing a guest article, talking to a friend of a friend, I’m repeating myself.
THIS IS WHAT WE NEED TO KNOW.
These are the questions we all have. This is how we need to treat our bodies, how we need to support, live in, and move our bodies.
This is how we connect to our powerhouse physically and energetically to run the extra mile, hold the inversion and maybe add a backbend, grow a human, expel them, and RECOVER afterwards.
This is how we do it nah nah nah nah nah ← this would be the dance break that goes here.
And this week on the podcast I’m sharing Part 2 of our pelvic floor series titled 29: YOUR Pelvic Floor Through The Ages. Because how we work with and experience our pelvic floor changes in each stage of life 🤯
This is information I share openly. This is information we deserve to have. This is information that should be free.
So why am I charging for my courses? It’s a question I often ask myself.
Because I think accessibility is paramount which is why I create so much free content! We deserve to know these things, have these conversations, and people need to know about what happened to my undercarriage!
AND I’ve offered classes/workshops/etc for free. I myself have signed up for these types of free things. I’ve attended things for free. (Those last two are distinct!)
And I’m going to be really freaking honest with you.
That’s the energy I show up with. I haven’t invested and so I’m not really invested.
When I pay for something, I show the eff up.
When I offered Foundations 101 for the first time, I charged $497 whether you attended IRL or online. And people showed the eff up. They showed up, they did their homework (which is literally to take 10 breaths each day on purpose with intention, nothing insane but impactful AF), they asked questions, and they saw results.
I am here to set you up for success. I am here to facilitate and create accountability around showing the eff up for yourself because you deserve that!
I want you to understand your GD beautiful body and be able to advocate the living daylights out of yourself. I want you to feel centered, strong, powerful, sexy, confident, and continent in the doctor’s office, the boardroom, and the bedroom.
I want you to be able to have hard conversations. I want you to be able to share with a friend what you experience and create space for them to do the same. I want you to take pride in your body and your experience and yourself.
I want you to move through the world as confidently as I can now get up off the floor and dance my heart out. You can watch a video of me dancing said heart out in dance class with Morgan Rose Johnson last week at Broadway Dance Center here. Yes, there is a little tiny baby in my belly 🥰
Now, I can only speak for myself, but after my tear I would have paid a GAJILLION dollars to feel better, to feel safer, to feel centered in my body and myself. I didn’t have to because I became my own client, started Pilates For MY Privates, and also because insurance reimbursed part of my physical therapy.
I’m saying that I was ready to invest ALL THE DOLLARS to feel at home again in my body. And what I’m wondering is, what is that feeling worth to you? What kind of investment will you, do you, are you going to make in yourself?
Because I’m going ALL IN. Not half ass. I’m going FULL ASS.
You?

Xo, Alissa
