Before we get into the mental homeopathy for today I wanted to share that in addition to heading up to Canyon Ranch BY MYSELF tomorrow to teach TWO pelvic floor workshops I am also teaching a 90-minute pelvic floor workshop Saturday, January 28th at 10-11:30am in Bloomfield, NJ at Iris Yoga. I met Taryn through mutual friends and immediately fell in love. She’s an awesome person and mom of four girls the youngest of whom was born with Down Syndrome which inspired Taryn to Co-found Extra Lucky Moms.
So Saturday January 28th 10-11:30 am I will meet you at Iris Yoga for…
The who, what, where, when, and why you have it, care about it, and are ready to integrate this physical and energetic powerhouse hidden between your legs. This workshop opens up the conversation about all things pelvic floor and pelvic health. You are not the only one and you are not alone!
*safe for you if you are looking to learn more about your undercarriage, are pregnant, and/or are postpartum.
What we will cover:
Basic anatomy of the pelvic floor
How these muscles are similar and different from other voluntary skeletal muscles in your body (like you Bi’s and Tri’s)
How to maximize recruitment of these unsung muscular heros
Why integrating these muscles changes your physical and energetic body so you can show us as fully yourself in your life
You will leave with:

OK, now on to today’s dose of mental homeopathy…
On Monday’s podcast episode with my friend Lane Kwederis Sex, Comedy, and FinDom OH MY! We talked about more than just life as sex worker, a dominatrix, and a financial dominatrix at that! Lane and I also talked about taking taboo personal experiences and making them into art. She is working on her show Sex Job Show and I am working on my next one woman show We Party #thisismotherhood.
And in today’s post I’m sharing about how writing has always been a part of my life. I kept tons of journals as a small child and I still journal a lot. Not always every day, but enough that I can go back and gain insight into myself whenever I need it. I naturally journal and when it comes to writing or talking, I don’t usually need a prompt. I'm just like…ready to go. AND I love using them. Because I do what I do, you know? And using a prompt so often gets me out of my patterns and habits and actually opens up my thinking, perspective, and perspective that allows me to see things in a way which I get so much out of.
So here we go as I share a little bit more about why I think making our thoughts tangible on paper is important and 3 prompts I like to use when I’m ready to spice things up a little.
